What NearMiss is built from

These are the notices NearMiss ships with, shown in the app under Settings > Credits & Licenses and reproduced here so they are readable without installing anything. They are licence conditions, so they are copied rather than rewritten.

Aircraft models — Creative Commons Attribution 4.0

The aircraft assets below were adapted for real-time use. Adaptations may include format conversion, scale and orientation changes, material replacement, normal repair, mesh selection, and runtime assembly. The original creators do not endorse NearMiss. Each original is licensed under CC BY 4.0. Every aircraft render on this site and in the Play Store listing is a render of these adapted models.

Fonts — SIL Open Font License 1.1

Exo 2 — Copyright 2013 The Exo 2 Project Authors. Russo One — Copyright 2011-2012 Jovanny Lemonad; Reserved Font Name “Russo”. Both fonts are distributed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1; the full licence text is bundled with the game and is also served here at /licenses/OFL-1.1.txt. This site self-hosts the same two font files the game uses.

This site

The key art and Google Play feature graphic are illustrated store art. The phone images are the current Play Store screenshots: real in-game captures presented inside the store frame, with the store headline text that Google Play shows. Nothing here is a mock-up of a feature that does not exist. Questions or corrections: max@cresis.org.
